CBIA energy seminar April 24

With electric rates expected to increase because of the power industry restructuring, the Connecticut Business & Industry Association will offer a seminar on April 24 on ways to keep a business’ energy costs down.

Business people can learn about some of the newest tools and services to help them make their companies more energy efficient at the seminar at 8 a.m. at the Savin Rock Conference Center in West Haven.

At the half-day seminar, attendees will learn about free software from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency that compares the amount of electricity used by comparable businesses, as well as moneysaving energy-efficiency programs for businesses.
